Contracted by a Birmingham Primary school to install 3 gate systems to control access to the school ensuring a safe environment. Top gates featuring the school logo, Main driveway gates with ram automation, intercom system, safety edges and anti crush devices fitted. Pedestrian gates fitted to front and rear of school with timed and coded access facilities.

Gates originally installed by another company. We were contracted to remove, blast clean and re-finish gates. Once this was completed, we re-set existing posts to level and re-hung the gates. The gates were then fitted with 'ram' automation and a wireless intercom system.

Following an impact from a delivery lorry, we were contracted by Penso Ltd. to carry out remedial works including demolition and site clearance, building and ground works and the commisioning of a 8m (clear opening) HD1 cantilever gate with beninca 20m Bull motor and access control systems. All manufactured in house, including finishing in our new large capacity spray shop.

Gate restoration

The gates were given a special zinc pretreatment prior to a 3 layer powder coat finish for the ultimate durability we then re-fitted them with new underground hydraulic motors and put the gates back into service.^

 

The above gates on this West midlands estate had been damaged to what all other gate companies had described as beyond repair - the gates had originally been comissioned at a cost of over 10,000 pounds. We were able to blast strip the gates prior to repairing, restoring, re-finishing, automating and refitting. The customer was exstatic with the results and with the notable cost saving on new estate gates.^
